Reading Is Fun!
Tomorrows LEADER
The sixteen finalist from the Prep II’s met in a reading competition in the MSB hall. The selection rounds had been conducted in their classrooms, where judgement had been an uphill task as the students all read so very well.
The competition unfolded round after round, where each student aimed to read better with pronunciation, intonation and enunciation well in place.
Beginning with the “Words Round”, followed by the “Sentence Round”. The questions in the “Questions Round”, were read in the style required distinguishing them well apart from the statements. The last round was the “rhyming word round” which the children truly enjoyed.
The participants parted on a happy note, proud about their well acquired reading skills and a quest in every little heart to read even better.
