Karachi Through Our Eyes

16 Oct 2010

An exciting excursion trip of the entire city of Karachi was planned for 210 students of the Primary Section focusing mainly on environmental awareness.

The students accompanied by 22 teachers and 5 mothers began their fun filled trip at 7.30 am. The buses left the school premises by 8.30 am commencing their expedition with Tilawat-ud-Dua. The magnificent Masjid-e-Tooba was the first place visited and the Karachi Cantt Station was next in line. The students were taken around the station to experience and learn about the different tasks which are carried out at a train station. The students marveled at the magnificence of the tall buildings, shopping malls and the flyovers as they navigated through the city. The buses stopped at the Hasani Masjid just long enough for the children to prepare themselves for offering Salat ul Asrain and proceeded to Bin Qasim Park for fun, relaxation and lunch. There on, the buses advanced to Burhani Mahal which immediately filled every heart with the wish and dua to be able to do deedar of Moula (TUS) once again in our country. The Kemari Port was the last sojourn of the journey, and also the most awaited. The students went for boat rides through the harbour where learning was combined with pleasure.

Smiling cheerful children reached their destinations at 4.30pm with lovely memories and lots to share with their beloved ones.
