25th September 2014

“There are many little ways to enlarge a child’s world. The love for books is the best of all.” Paramount Books and United Kingdom Trade & Investments had arranged a colorful storytelling session for schools across Karachi at the British Deputy High Commission’ House Al Madrasa was amidst the privileged schools to receive this invitation. We sent two students from the Primary Section to represent us at the event. The students were warmly welcomed by the British Deputy High Commissioner and the Managing Director of Paramount Books. This lead to a colorful story telling session with animation and sound effects. The story was about Hansel and Gretel. This was followed by a questionnaire from the story and an Art Competition. By this time the children were hungry and were promptly served with scrumptious snacks which they thoroughly enjoyed. The second session revolved around the story of The Princess and the Pea. The winners for the Art competition were awarded prizes. The rest of the students also received beautiful red bags with a pouch filled with stationery and two story books from the Lady Books Series to add to their little libraries. The children left to go home with smiles at having enjoyed a wonderful day filled with fun.
