The Upper Primary Meet for Handball
8th November 2012
At last the long awaited Thursday arrived. The Upper primary boys were all set for the handball match that was set out for them.
They assembled between the two MSB buildings with their sports teachers. The game was to be played House wise and each game was set to be of five goals.
The Sabr and Yaqeen Houses played the first match. This match kept the spectators busy wondering and contemplating as the teams played brilliantly against each other to a nail biting end where the Sabr house won with five goals.
The next match was between the Jihaad and the Adl houses. Both teams played just as well ending the game with the Jihaad winning their opponents with five goals.
This set the ground for the two winning teams to play the final round. The finals were between the Sabr and Jihaad House boys. The Sabr team played with great vigour and enthusiasm whereas the Jihaad team seemed tired and slowed down after the earlier round making the decision of the winning team very easy as the Greens came through with five goals whereas the Reds scored three goals.
The spectators which included the Masool as well as Heads and Teachers all cheered and applauded the winning team as well as the other teams who had played just as well.
