The Prefects Investiture’s Ceremony

It is a matter of prestige and honor to be awarded with a rank or a position for the upliftment within any organization. Every year the senior students at Al Madrasa tus Saifiya tul Burhaniyah are awarded positions, forming a student’s council which comprises of the Head Boy, the Head Girl, the Deputy head, the House Captains, their Vice Captains and their team, who in liason with their teachers plan and implement strategies for uplifting the standards, discipline and the decorum of the Madrasa.

The investiture ceremony this year was held in the school grounds. The Masool, A representative from Idara-tul-Madaris-is-Saifiya-tul-Burhaniyah, Academic Coordinators, Heads of Sections and faculty members from the Upper primary and Secondary were present for the ceremony.

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Al-Qur’an e Majeed, followed by verses from the marsiyah of Imam Hussain AS. The Masool rendered words of motivation and stated the expectations of the School management from the students to perform their duties diligently.

The ceremony proceeded towards the oath taking ceremony. Hence the head boy led the team into the oath taking.The Prefect team members were awarded their sashes, tags and badges according to their respective positions.

This ceremony concluded with wazifa-tus-shukr and the students council standing smart and tall ready to take up their duties with adherence, loyalty and devotion.
