Blood Screening at Al-Madrasa

Al-Madrasa-tus-Saifiya-tul-Burhaniyah is always striving to take care of its students holistically in all aspects and arranges medical camps annually to assess students health. Understanding the importance of the pure deep red liquid that flows through the veins which means life! Blood which is precious and pivotal to a healthy life. With the gracious and untiring services of the trained personnel from Burhani Diagnostic Centre and the consent from our parents, a blood screening camp was arranged within the school premises. The camp began from the 22nd of September 2014 testing approximately 80 – 100 students daily for seven days at a stretch. The senior students under the guidance of faculty members created awareness amidst students by presenting important facts and information about blood screening. The blood was screened for complete blood count and blood grouping. The reports of which will not only present the blood profile but also have a physician’s recommendations wherever required.
